The wind is back. Last week it knocked out our power for almost 24 hours. It also gave Soto Street a good dusting and sent small children running for extra weight to hold them down. This week, I witnessed it in action as it took out the 20-foot high gorilla balloon that identifies Strong Tie Insurance Services, Inc. in Bell. That’s him, the blue blob with the yellow glasses that have been ground into the roof of that building.
