Chavo, that looks like a cool book. I might have to check it out myself.

VU–I think we’re on the same page on our review of this book. I too think that the character, pace, and storytelling were good, even though the end was disappointing. Oh well. Nevertheless, it was perfect poolside reading.

I just finished Gonzalez and Daughter Trucking Co. last week! Great main character, huh? And a really interesting pace and storytelling style. Did you think that the answers we got in the end were worth the journey?

Saturday was raining hard, so I stayed in for most of the day and did some reading for my midterms. It was an ok day.

    Chavo,
You work? What about subverting this capitalist-exploitative system by keeping your skills away from the system?

I had to work Sat. but I took a similar cue for Sunday. Didn’t meet any babies but I did hang out in my small backyard, finished of an easy book (http://www.theinventionofhugocabret.com), and ate a bunch of veggie tacos. That’s my version of a lazy sunday.
